Ron is a second career educator born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, graduating from Pennsylvania State University (BS in Marketing) and Temple University (M.Ed in Special Education). Ron’s career first began as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley and PNC Bank. After feeling called by the Creator to become an educator, Ron spent the past 11 years as a special education teacher, an assistant principal, a charter network director of special education and a principal in the city of Philadelphia. Ron has served children in district schools, charter schools and even in a cyber school.
Ron loves spending time with his wife, 8-year-old son, two dogs and has a child on the way. Outside of his work in schools, Ron and his wife have been helping hundreds of people get in shape and live healthier lives as fitness consultants through Beachbody. They both have lost over 50 pounds each and in 2013 they crossed the line together in completing their 1st Tough Mudder.
