Shawn Harris was born and raised in Queens, NY. He attended Lincoln University, PA where is received his Bachelors of Science in English/Communications. Shawn worked for over 10 years with Geico and Pepsico as an Account Manager. Shawn has always had a passion for working with children and in 2011 founded the HPC Leadership Academy located in Hollis, Queens New York. The HPC Leadership Academy provides a platform for student –athletes to learn life skills and improve each of them mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually to be leaders inside and outside of their communities. Shawn has also coached boys’ basketball at Eagle Academy for Boys Charter School in Jamaica, NY.
Shawn has a passion for sports, music and the arts. He is an advocate for students to achieve higher education by assisting to coordinate college tours and college fairs. Shawn loves to use sports to keep young people activate in fitness and educating on healthy living and eating.
